Techline: Our Representation in Argentina and Uruguay
When it comes to industrial process heating, global manufacturing leaders need more than just great equipment, they need local engineering partners who understand their market’s unique challenges. For over a quarter of a century, Techline has proudly represented Pick Heaters in Argentina and Uruguay, helping industrial customers improve process heating performance with proven Direct Steam Injection (DSI) technology.

What started as an unexpected handoff in 1999 has matured into a benchmark partnership, delivering world-class direct steam injection technology paired with deep-rooted local expertise to dozens of processing plants across Argentina and Uruguay.
An Unexpected Beginning, A Lasting Legacy
The partnership between Techline and Pick Heaters didn't begin with a standard corporate pitch. It began with a recommendation.
In 1999, an outgoing representative for Pick Heaters in Argentina was preparing to step down. Committed to leaving Pick’s reputation in the best possible hands, they approached Techline. Recognizing the synergy between Pick’s premier DSI technology and their own existing portfolio of process equipment, Techline accepted the offer.
Techline set out to promote and prove the value of DSI to the region. By 2000, Techline’s President traveled to the Pick Heaters manufacturing facility in West Bend, Wisconsin, solidifying a relationship built on shared engineering and business values.
Over the last 26 years, that bond has only strengthened through cross-continental collaboration—including Techline’s visit to Wisconsin in 2017 and Pick’s most recent technical delegation sent to Argentina to visit Techline’s team in March 2026.
Proven Regional Success: Over 30 Plant Implementations
Over the past two decades, a large number of companies in the region have purchased and successfully integrated Pick Heaters equipment into their core industrial processes.
In the last five years alone, Techline has deployed dozens of process water heating applications, helping local plant managers optimize energy efficiency, lower operational costs, and achieve precise temperature control.
Some of the key sectors that have benefited from Techline's engineering and Pick’s Direct Steam Injection technology include:
- Meat Processing Industry: Streamlining high-volume sanitation, carcass washing, and plant cleanup.
- Food Processing: Enhancing critical production lines for frozen vegetables, delicate sauces, fruit jams, and precision confectionery manufacturing.
By combining Pick’s world-class equipment with Techline’s local support - spanning equipment selection, system design, commissioning, and after-sales service - industrial customers receive a turn-key solution that maximizes equipment lifespan.
